Service Opportunities

Each of us possess unique spiritual gifts. We have many ministry areas that thrive on those gifts shared with the church! It is also one of the best ways to get plugged in and meet people! Here are a few examples of areas to serve at Bethesda UMC.

• Nursery- The nursery is available from 9:00 until 12:00 on Sundays and welcomes children ages 0-4 during the 9:00 and 11:00 services (children ages 3-4 are invited to join us in the Sunday School class). Feel free to drop your child off with our wonderful nursery volunteers so you may participate in Sunday School and in our worship service. All nursery volunteers are Safe Sanctuary certified and do an exceptional job loving and caring for the children!
• AV Team- Our Audio-Visual Team serves on a rotating basis and manages sound, slides & the live stream and for the 11 o'clock service. No experience is needed, training is provided.
• Altar Guild- This team ensures everything is in place in the sanctuary for worship services. This team also serves on a rotating basis.
• Events- Our church events are always great with the help of many hands to lighten the load and add to the fun!
