Yes! Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.” Children learn about worship by participating with adults in worship. We know that means some extra noise at times, but that is expected.

Our Sprouts Nursery is open for children ages 5 & under during Sunday School and Worship Service. All nursery workers are Safe Sanctuary certified.

You are invited to join the congregation in praying and hearing God’s Word.

In the United Methodist church we believe that the communion table is a time when Christ offers grace to any who desire it. You do not need to be a member of the church. The invitation to participate is given to those “who love Christ, who earnestly repent of their sin, and who seek to live in peace with one another.” Children are also welcome to receive the bread and juice.

You are welcome to give. An offering is received at each service since giving to God is an act of worship expressing our trust, gratitude and devotion. The office does provide yearly contribution statements to regular givers and those who give electronically. Bethesda is a tithing church, giving at least a tenth (usually much more) of its income to missions and ministries beyond the local church.

Ushers are there to help and assist.
